Corey(3) got off to an early lead but mid way through the round managed to lose 6 holes in succession through a combination of errand shots and birdies from his opponent, but eventually went on to lose 2 and 1.

At the stage heavy rain started falling with lakeside having to win the last two matches Matt(2) was also one up playing the 18th hit to great shots to find the green in regulation in trying conditions forcing his opponent to attack the pin to try and win the hole, but he also pulled the ball into the water allowing Matt a two up victory.

Ben(1) also got to the 18th tee one up both players found trouble of the tee neither able to reach the green in two, Ben missed his 20 foot par put to finish with a bogey and was left to watch his opponent attempt a 15 foot par put to tie the match, but he also had to watch his opponent settle for a bogey meaning lakeside won the match 4 games to 3.
