Wests Group Macarthur takes pride in designing and delivering meaningful community support across the Macarthur region and beyond. We identify local needs and develop initiatives that align with our strategic direction while creating positive, lasting outcomes for our community. Our support is delivered through tailored strategies, funding programs, donations, active participation and hands-on volunteering ensuring real benefits for residents and local community organisations.
Wests delivers funding through ClubGRANTS, a statewide government mandated funding program that that provides significant financial support to community and sporting clubs, in contributing to enhance the wellbeing of their local communities. We participate in the Local ClubGRANTS Committees, which provide the opportunity for local projects to apply for funding from Campbelltown and Camden clubs. Sector Connect oversees the administration of Local ClubGRANTS rounds in Campbelltown and Camden, with the support of The Department of Communities and Justice, as well as both Campbelltown City and Camden Councils.
Over the past year, Wests Group Macarthur proudly invested a remarkable $5,131,644 back into the Macarthur community. Of this, $3,998,931 was delivered through Categories 1 and 2 of the ClubGRANTS program, supporting local community and sporting clubs across the region.
